My Bio
My name is Dexter Battle, I am the founder of Battle Consulting Firm Group, LLC. My current position is with Hillsborough County BOCC Head Start and Early Head Start program. I'm also the athletic director for the Seffner Seahawks Youth Football and Cheerleading Organization in Tampa, FL. Some of my achievements include, The 2023 Annual Preservice Difference Making Award, The 2021 Community Youth Leadership Recognition Award, The 2019 Hillsborough County Outstanding Leadership Award, and The 2017 West Coast Athletic Conference Coach of the Year. My passion, is to identify the role of the male's perspective on involvement in early childhood education.
What is J.U.M.P ?
Through the J.U.M.P Program, I implement innovative ways of communicating and integrating outdated fatherhood perceptions of self-discipline, education, and co-parenting. Through my motivational speaking, I establish a plan to enhance fatherhood engagement in the head start and early head start communities. I have presented at the Hillsborough County Head Start and Early Head Start Pre-Service training, the Florida Head Start Association Annual Conference, South Carolina State Association Fatherhood Coalition Conference, and The Head Start Region IV Leadership Conference.
